Learn about Senior Connect which is a program in which college and high school volunteers from the University of Houston, Post Oak School, and Lamar High School call seniors weekly and engage in meaningful conversations by phone. All students are vetted and trained to ensure their commitment level to the program, interest in their engagement with seniors, and skill in having meaningful conversations. This connection also allows students to fulfill their requirement of community service during a time of social distancing while also bridging the generation gap.
